NATCO Hosts Customer Appreciation Day Event
Customers of Northern Arkansas Telephone Company (NATCO) were guests at the company’s fall Customer Appreciation Day on October 16. The company awarded a dozen prizes to customers attending whose names were drawn at random.
Customers also were treated to lunch grilled outdoors, a live radio broadcast, and demonstrations of advanced telecommunications services such as wireless Internet. One of the most popular demonstrations was streaming movies downloaded from the Internet.
NATCO provides telephone service in Marion and Boone County communities, and serves an expanded area including Baxter County and southern Missouri with satellite Internet as well as dial-up and high-speed Internet.
Prizes were given as follows:

- digital picture frame - Karin Schade, James Wisnieski
- big button phone – Carol Charleville
- computer bag – Sheila Middleton, Kathy Wegener
- $25 NATCO Gift Certificate – Brenda Crandall, David Skelton, Mollie Cooke
- $25 El Chico Café Gift Card – Mary Ann Rose, John Kenchel.

Flippin, Diamond City, Lead Hill, Pyatt, and Omaha. Offices are at 301 E. Main St. in Flippin. NATCO Technologies is the Internet division, and South Shore Foundation is the charitable arm of NATCO, founded in 1996, which makes grants to nonprofit organizations for educational advancement, environmental preservation, and economic development.
