NATCO Donates Computers to Peel Academy

NATCO has donated six computer systems formerly used in their offices to the Peel Full Gospel Christian Academy, a private school at Peel in Marion County. Principal Mark Uber said the computer systems would be used by the staff and for a media class for older students. “They will be put to good use next school year,” Uber said.

They are IBM 300 GL computers with a Windows operating system, anti-virus and business office software. Each is provided with a 17-inch monitor, keyboard and mouse, NATCO said.

The Peel Full Gospel Christian Academy currently serves students from Peel, Lead Hill, Diamond City, Yellville, and Lakeway, ages 5 to 18. During the upcoming summer, the school will be undergoing an expansion project to accommodate 40 students. Among the items the academy needs are construction and lighting materials, playground equipment for recess and physical education classes, and equipment for life science and biology classes, including a microscope.

Uber said the school is a ministry of Peel Full Gospel Church and opened in
August of 2005. Interest and support for the school have grown in its first year just
through word of mouth, he said. The school uses the Accelerated Christian
Education curriculum and is located at 5411 MC 2059, telephone 870-436-4008.
