In 1996, NATCO created a charitable organization, the South Shore Foundation.

Through the South Shore Foundation, NATCO has sponsored community projects to enhance the quality of life for residents and to accomplish the goals of educational advancement, environmental preservation, and economic development through communications and technology.

Since its founding in 1996, the South Shore Foundation has awarded close to one million dollars in project grants to enhance the lives of area residents. In addition to grants for worthwhile community projects, each year the South Shore Foundation awards scholarships to outstanding graduates of South Shore area schools.
