Rottmayer Joins NATCO as Director of Operations
David L. Rottmayer recently joined NATCO, in Flippin, Arkansas, as Director of Operations. With more than 40 years' experience in the communications industry, Mr. Rottmayer brings a successful history of operations management and industry knowledge to the local broadband company.
Mr. Rottmayer's previous communications experience spans the globe. As Director of Operations for Ericsson's Google Program, Rottmayer successfully executed the installation and construction of more than 4,000 miles of fiber network in the San Jose, California metro area.
Rottmayer was responsible for the first Long-Term Evolution (LTE) 4G wireless network in Ghana. He guided operations for fiber network and fixed wireless deployment in diverse international locations including Belize, Nigeria, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia. Rottmayer met the challenges of designing and deploying a fiber network in the New York City borough of Manhattan and successfully established a global ATM network serving the cities of Boston, New York, Hong Kong, London, Amsterdam, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Mr. Rottmayer previously served as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of a rural fiber broadband company in Florida, managing all aspects of operations.
A recognized leader in the communications industry, Rottmayer is the author of numerous articles focusing on fiber networks and broadband deployment, specifically addressing implementation of fiber technology in rural areas. He has delivered presentations on fiber deployment and engineering automation at technology conferences and symposiums in the U.S. and Europe.
Originally from Oklahoma, Mr. Rottmayer's experience in the communications industry began in 1978 with his service as a Telecom Chief in the United States Marine Corps.
In his role as Director of Operations at NATCO, Mr. Rottmayer's responsibilities include strategic planning, implementation, and management of the company's technological infrastructure and services. Rottmayer spearheads NATCO's broadband initiatives and oversees day-to-day internal and external operations.

Mr. Rottmayer resides in Flippin, with his wife, Lauri. The couple has two adult sons, Brandon and Geoffrey who reside in Oklahoma, along with a granddaughter, Aniston.
