Young Leaders Visit NATCO
The South Shore Marion County Youth Leadership group visited our offices for our annual Tech Day at NATCO. The 9th grade students were invited to spend some time with our employees and learn about how we make the Internet happen.
Students followed the order process from start to finish on an Internet install, as well as learned about careers in customer service and Internet support. They took assessments with Human Resources to learn which types of careers best suit their personality types, and then worked with Accounting to learn how to use a 401K to retire as a millionaire.
The SSMCYL students are 9th graders selected from Bruno-Pyatt, Flippin, and Yellville schools. The program is designed to identify and strengthen leadership skills in our community's next generation and to build their self-confidence as they learn to serve their schools and communities.
